Microsoft Azure: The cloud platform to host your applications

Microsoft Azure. Cloud based technology from Microsoft......

So what is Microsoft Azure?
Azure is a software development kit (SDK) as well as the runtime environment for building and running highly scalable applications for the cloud.

Microsoft Azure is nothing but hosting service on bases of pay as per your usage

Let’s take an example that all of us using electricity in our home and at the end of month we would get bill as per electricity usage and we need to pay it. Apply same logic on Azure platform.
We do not tack care about infrastructure just we need to concentrate on our application.
We can make our application more scalable when we really need and also pay cost for that.

There are mechanism of webroles and instances.
Webrole indicates any application and instance indicates resources (One CPU), We can increase that instance or decrease also to scale our application.

Let’s take an example  in one ecommerce application store,  for some moths traffic of that Website will be huge and in other months very less , now assume if they have taken infrastructure to handle huge traffic then they will be charged same for other months also , now think that situation in Azure platform to handle huge
traffic just increase instances of webrole and to handle low traffic decrease webrole’s instances as per needed.

So user will be charges as per they have used infrastructure of Azure platform.
